Evelyn is a forward-looking, optimistic Christian woman who has over 40 years of successful business experience. With an educational background in Business and Management and Mediation she is uniquely equipped to support and encourage others as they pursue their life’s vision.
Evelyn’s background is in the highly competitive and demanding world of real estate. She quickly rose to the top of her profession that culminated in successfully owning and managing her own office. Beyond her career life, Evelyn’s past experiences created a passion to help others who are going through similar circumstances.
Evelyn is certified as a Master Christian Life Coach through the Professional Christian Coaching and Counseling Academy and is a certified Biblical Lay Counselor.
She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Christian Coaching Alliance and Faith to Action Movement and has served on several business, local, and church boards.
As a young 25-year-old Christian, I had a tremendous passion to work in an ethical, moral, and professional environment. However, when I entered the business world I quickly found out how difficult that was to find. But God led me to a company owned by a Christian couple who taught me how to stir my dreams and make them a reality.
I rose to manager and began to develop a philosophy where I could provide the environment that I had tried so hard to find. Armed with my experience, I moved forward, purchased a National Real Estate Franchise, and began my own company.
As a young entrepreneur I came to understand how vitally important it was to develop a good name, a reputation for fairness, and an attitude of optimism. My mission statement rested on, “always treat others as you would have them treat you”, knowing how vital that is for success in business as well as life.
Now, as a Life Coach, my passion is to motivate and inspire those who seek to be empowered to live the most dynamic life that God has intended for them.
Meet Evelyn’s Family
Beyond Coaching, Evelyn’s life is filled with the everyday joy of being married to her husband, Len, who is her greatest supporter and best friend. The foundation of their life together is based upon their mutual faith and love of God.
Each year, the Woodys look forward to spending a fun-filled week at Disney with Evelyn’s son, John, who resides in Gainsville, Florida. They are “Friday-Night” football fans of the local high school that Len’s son, Jeff, coaches. Their daughters, Amy and Amy, are always available for a Saturday dinner and movie night. Their grandchildren, Chloe and Rowen, continue to fill their life with excitement and joy as they watch them grow.
“We share the blessing of four unique and wonderfully talented children, their spouses and two precious grandchildren. Our family is a priority to us and we love times spent together, as well as walking, reading, local high school football, traveling and the great outdoors.”
An important aspect of Evelyn’s life is giving back and she has had the lifetime opportunity to do so with many community charities through volunteering and fundraising.
